Ratel Investments Provides Private
Equity Investment
for Land Entitlement Project
Proposed 190 Home Development for Oroville, California

Tiburon, Calif.— September 18, 2006 – Ratel Investments, a real estate private equity firm, today announced an equity investment in a joint venture project to fund the entitlement of 35 acres of land for the creation of approximately 190 single-family residential lots in Oroville, California. The project is scheduled to be completed in approximately 24 months and when finished is intended to provide lots that will be used to build entry level homes in the $250,000 to $325,000 price point.
