Ratel Provides Private Equity Investment For Dallas/Ft. Worth Retail Center
Tiburon, Calif. – July 16, 2007 - Ratel Investments, a real estate private equity firm, today announced an equity investment in a 194,624 square-foot community retail center, The Shops at Central Park, located in Bedford, Texas, a suburb in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Ratel’s operating partner is Dunhill Partners, a Dallas-based commercial real estate firm that manages over 3 million square feet of retail shopping centers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region. This investment is anticipated to deliver immediate, strong cash flow to Ratel’s investors with additional upside based on rent escalations, increased occupancy and expansion potential.
Built in 1985 and extensively updated in 2003, The Shops fronts Airport Freeway which connects Dallas and Fort Worth with the nearby DFW International Airport. With a car count of 205,000 vehicles per day, The Shops’ major tenants include Starbucks Coffee, Chili’s Grill & Bar, Duke’s Original Roadhouse, Curves Fitness, Blockbuster Video, MetroPCS and Sak’n Save grocery.
